@mikeyrockstar1: Heard Lennon say somewhere that when they stopped the intense practice that their music wasn't as good as it had been. One of the many reasons they stopped touring in '66.

@mikeyrockstar1 They readily played for Decca, but then Decca turned them down. In the words of Eric Idle to the Decca guy in "All you need is cash": "What's it like to be such an *ASSHOLE*?" I mean, who in their right mind could turn down THE BEATLES, for goodness' sake?!

Love this song. It's in the movie Imagine near the beginning. They were a tight unit in the early days. Practicing hours a day. When they went to audition for their record company, the producer asked them to show them what they had. They played 14 hours of music for them to decide what to record. The message folks is to practice practice practice. They were so tight.
I hit my hand on the table when reaching to turn this up and John went 'OWW!' in the video. -took the words right out of my mouth. XD I could listen to this over and over.
