I was 13 living in Minneapolis. We had everything coming through FIrst Avenue/7th St. Entry. I was just too young. Not my 22 yr old brother! (Please forgive us for Soul Asylum) Prince, Husker Du, Replacements, Suburbs etc etc ... and those bands inspiring how many bands when I was, finally, let in to First Ave!

Man I miss the '80s! I was a teenager back then. The party's, the concerts, the movies and the music, miss it all! Lived in Sacramento California back then. Those were crazy times. Things were so kick back then. You can't do any of the things we used to back then!

Yep, same way out here in the NYC metro area. The 80's were AWESOME!! :0) So much fun, with just enough innocence & common sense in us to keep our heads on straight.  Wish I could back for just one day....

This is how I remembered 1983. The styles, house parties, everything in this vid captures what it was like living in southern California down to a tee. Those were indeed great times!
