  • It's like he (the first drummer) is beign whooed by her and her "beauty" and then another man (second drummer) hears her and when he comes along, she listens to what he's got "say" (notice the way she looks at him) and then the two begin to "compete" over her...neither winning her in the end. lol just my own interpritation...

  • @1sorryham plus the clapping can sorta act as a metranome and when you can settle into it, it is an amazing feeling of cohering with your audience!!!!!

  • @IntoTheMystical it's nice to be nice sometimes :-)

  • @fuaim Thanks for making a nice comment about this, I'm afraid most people that love traditional music are not as kind.

  • @fuaim You listen to traditional music, and can immediately tell that CW's music is NOT traditional. However, I'm afraid most people cannot, they just haven't been exposed to the real thing. CW actually never claimed to be a traditional group, but a group formed to appeal to the US's interest in Irish music. They sing pop productions, often using traditional songs simply because that is what is most popular. It is a shame more people don't research songs to see the difference in genres.

  • uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @IntoTheMystical i think it's just that it is frustrating when people listen to this stuff all the time, thinking it's Irish trad & don't listen to real trad as a result, like sean nós singing, for ex.It's great that u enjoy CW, but u can understand it is disappointing for people if u immerse yourself in this stuff without giving traditional irish music the attention and adulation it deserves. Not hatin' on CW, just they use their talent in a v specific commercial way (why not). But it's not trad

  • @gaeilge1O1 It's always a great thing to see people using the Irish language, whatever their level, and it should be encouraged, but if you're using it to lecture people and try to appear like you know more than them, at least make sure your grammar is up to scratch, which it ain't. Where are you originally from yourself?

  • @gaeilgeO1 U're incorrect sir. I'm from the West of Ireland, know trad musicians & clapping is usually unwelcome as bad clapping puts musicians off in pub sessions. Foot tapping/yelps=welcome.Folk music?Christy Moore always stops playin 2 ask pple 2 stop clapping if they start. I understand, u work 4 Celtic Woman but don't b annoyed when pple point out that it is commercial & not an accurate reflection of the irish trad scene. Both can coexist, fair play, but Trad is much deeper & richer than CW

  • @fuaim...It's obvious you don't know much about folk or traditional irish music...

  • how the hell she keep those notes while moves like that?! she's amazing?!

  • @TheKiri997 I think she has said before she used to practice at least 4-6 hours.. plus on top of that rehearsals with Celtic Woman, which is a lot as well.. So probably a good portion of the day is dedicated to her work! (:
