يافا - فيروز Jaffa - Fayrouz

Jaffa (Hebrew: יָפוֹ, Yafo Arabic: يَافَا Yāfā also Japho, Joppa; also, per c.1350 BCE Amarna Letters, Yapu) is an ancient port city located south of Tel Aviv, Israel on the Mediterranean Sea. Today it is a neighborhood of the city.

It is mentioned four times in the Hebrew Bible, as one of the cities given to the Tribe of Dan ,as port-of-entry for the cedars of Lebanon for Solomon's Temple ,as the place whence the prophet Jonah embarked for Tarshish and as port-of-entry for the cedars of Lebanon for the Second Temple of Jerusalem . It was also an important city in the Arab Middle East. During the Crusades, it was the County of Jaffa, a stronghold of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.



يافا (بالعبرية: יפו) هي مدينة تقع في فلسطين ، وهي من أقدم مدن فلسطين التأريخية . تقع المدينة في الساحل الشرقي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط . تبعد بحوالي 60 كيلومتر عن القدس . في عام 1949 قررت الحكومة الإسرائيلية توحيد مدينتي يافا وتل أبيب من ناحية إدارية، تحت اسم البلدية المشترك "بلدية تل أبيب - يافا" . تحتل مدينة يافا موقعاً طبيعياً متميزاً على الساحل الشرقي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط عند إلتقاء دائرة عرض 32.3ْ شمالاً وخط طول 34.17 شرقاً ، وذلك إلى الجنوب من مصب نهر العوجا بحوالي 7 كيلو مترات ، وعلى بعد 60 كيلو متر شمال غرب القدس ، وقد أسهمت العوامل الطبيعية في جعل هذا الموقع منيعاً يُشرف على طرق المواصلات والتجارة ، وهي بذلك تعتبر إحدى البوابات الغربية الفلسطينية ، حيث يتم عبرها إتصال فلسطين بدول حوض البحر المتوسط وأوروبا وإفريقيا . ويُعتبر ميناؤها أحد أقدم الموانئ في العالم ، حيث كان يخدم السفن منذ أكثر من 4000 عام . ولكن في 3 نوفمبر 1965 تم إغلاق ميناء يافا أمام السفن الكبيرة ، وتم استخدام ميناء أشدود بديلاً له ، وما زال الميناء يستقبل سُفن الصيد الصغيرة والقوارب السياحية .

@rubabakeer but i can do that, if you wish, in a few days. my only reason for replying to you is just to convince you of the real ideas in islam, so that you stop spreading the wrong ones, nothing more than that. and you keep forgetting that the struggle in palestine is not between muslims and jews, but between palestinian arabs (including muslims and christians) and israeli's. what's happening in egypt is true, but you shouldn't reffer to it as what muslims are doing to christians...

@hovevzion well, yes, the arabs let us down and did not help. but this doesn't deny the fact that people who stayed were killed, my grandfather's brother was killed while defending the city! and arabs who are still in jaffa now don't live peacfully with the israeli's! that's not true and you know it!

about the proves, i don't memories quraan by heart to give you proves now, but i can give you those proves. unluckily, i don't have time now for long conversations (in the middle of final exams).
