  • Unions are a wonderful tool 4 the working class and an american instituion: CWA has a long honorable history buts its legacy now is one of thuggery and violence. a UNION is an institution with a cause who is willing to sacrifice and sweat: a MOB however is the exact opposite. You have valid grievances but your negative, hoodlum, violent actions which you yourselves are videoing are destroying your credibility and endangering your jobs as noone will associate with a group acting this way.

  • funny: these are managers not scabs brought in to preserve the company so at least you have a job to come back to: look at how youre portraying yourselves: would you let these people into your homes? Are these the techs and voices on the other end of the phone youd want to have help you? State your grievance and justify the attention: dont turn a once honorable labor organization into a flying circus of thuggery and violence. Remember: you need a job to come back to! dont alienate your cust.

  • Question, would you partner in business with someone who thought you were a “suns-a-bitch”, “Asshole”, “Bastard”, ect? Neither would I. And would you want those kinds of people working for you should you own a business? Neither would I. How these Union people spout that kind rhetoric and actually think they’re strengthening their position is beyond me.

  • When you start cursing and acting like a hoodlum, you lose all the credibility and respect union or not.

  • @lookin4work My friend you sound like good hard working salt of the earth guy, Thats exactly what big business wants, starving people to plug in and work them like automatons.. we(union employees) arent the enemy..The last thing we wanted was a strike.. Im sick about this. But, If verizon has their way theyd have us making burger flipping wages, and it just isnt right.. we built this very profitable corporation

  • @lookin4work Yep, from the sound of i,t the big corps are doing their job turning the have nots against each other, fighting for the scraps. What the hell would you do if after 30 yrs of dedication to an extremely healthy 100 billion dollar a year company you were told youre getting at least a 30/40% percent cut.. youd be the first one out there yellin..

  • They do in fact share their wealth...nice paycheck you get right? any business should do whatever they want! you don't have to work there...why are you "entitled"??? Unions, especially teachers unions.. single handedly...have ruined new jersey public schools and spread poison wherever they go. Ask Gov. Christie how he feels about unions..

  • Yes, Verizon(Very Greedy) is a successful business. A successful business ought to share its wealth with the workers who created its success.

  • @lookin4work The union members have jobs in a rotten economy because they have bargained and negotiated job security into their labor contract over six decades. Verizon is trying to destroy those hard earned collective bargaining rights. Without their union these hard working Americans would also be out of work. Corporate ghouls move jobs overseas so they can take advantage of third-world workers who labor for pennies a day. This allows the ghouls to line their pockets with dirty cash.

  • I don't care how much verizon makes each year...that's a successful business...why would i whine about that? i just want a job...i'll pay my medical if they want...i'll work 16 hour days! i just want a freakin job! these folks have jobs in a rotten economy and complaining! And making good salary...no wonder why the move the jobs overseas....unions making a bad business model!
