I just think this whole thing is sad. It is sad how atheists who used to be christan can compare God a supernatural being with logical ideas and metholody. You cannot explain supernatural things using ignorant logic. But yet again, we cannot tell or force people to live by faith. Faith is what we christians abide on, non believers abide in evidence. Romans 14:11 Soon "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess." I am not here to argue so don't bother commenting back..Peace and love.

@vietmanch92 An I think it's sad how a Christian can claim God cannot be explained at all through logical means and still thinks they know anything about that God. Presumably you believe you know that God doesn't want you to sin and to follow his word, but if logic fails you then how can you possibly reach this conclusion?

If I were God, no one would need faith, because I would make sure that (if I cared that people thought I existed), I provided proof of myself to negate faith.

@stevehayes13 It's simple for most of them, if they learn too much about their religion it stops being their religion. Very few survive the process of learning all about Christianity while staying Christian, so the amount of knowledgeable Christians is lower.

I should have checked out POE’s law before I commented. I am sorry to associate you with a delusional Christian. I just found it particularly self-righteous of Christians who claim they read a book and now speak for their incompetent god to “judge” others (even though Jesus says not to judge) for a claim that has not met its burden of proof

Poe's Law states that beliefs are so crazy that someone pretending to be a believer, no matter how outlandish they pretend to be, is indistinguishable from the real thing. I am not a Christian,nor have I ever been one. The comment you replied to was made in jest, as I have no belief in the supernatural or that anything is sacred. Though I am sure there are some out there who your comment would apply to

Haha I think it’s hilarious that Christians like you automatically start out by not only apologizing for your god’s incompetence, but you actually think YOU can be the judge of what is biblically “in context” and determine what is to be taken as a metaphor and what is not.
