  • oh my god, is there any way to procure this on dvd or something?

  • I am working on a documentary about Hurrah which I may include a LL song in but I will wait til they put out an upcoming project already started before launching my full concert DVD project, but I do hope to do something. It is really great stuff. I love Liquid Liquid and one of the performances I shot at Hurrah was the same track used for one of their first singles, so it is nice to see the actual performance.

  • @MattLeGroulx

This video is available in the "Live from Hurrah's" DVD compilation by morada vision.

  • @boulderdamn

just a note, the morada vision compilation did not edit the multi camera shoots together. i hope to do something nice and have some excellent footage, full concerts from a few performances. I understand there is another epic DVD almost finished of Liquid Liquid done by an excellent artist and longtime collaborator named Bruce tovsky, but dont know anything about release dates. Stay tuned!

  • where is Hurrah located?

  • It was on 63rd street and Broadway (or was it 64th?) on the upper westside of Manhattan. It is no longer there. The whole block has been transformed by dance studios related to Lincoln Center (i think they're connected....)

  • This band deserves more recognition.

  • A 2:12 version of Bell Head similar to this was on 99 Records in the early 80s. I had two to loop it and make it longer. Some DJ took the live version back into the studio, separated it and re-EQ'd it with midrange boosts and bass dropouts (to make the bells sound a capella) and lengthened it to about 5-6 minutes. It absolutely screamed. Jellybean used to play it at the Fun House but only had it on a reel - no vinyl. But it has to exist somewhere. Anybody? Email me at cbernucca@comcast.net

  • THis is freakin dope ass.. and rare...
