http://bit.ly/i0hv9V - Manchester Evening News sports editor Peter Spencer has his say on Richard Keys and Andy Gray's 'sexist' sniping at a female assistant referee.
When I played / coached at County league level there were three female refs, one was a bit officious but the same can be said for many male refs. On the whole I felt they officiated far better than their male counterparts and without doubt players behaviour was far better.
As a former copper, on the whole the presence of a female in a confrontational situation mainly had a calming effect. Ofcourse there are those 'men' whom it makes little difference to aka ignorant neanderthals
Peter Spencer, everyone knows you are a joke anyway, your NOTHING compared to Richard Keys and Andy Grey.

He couldnt say anything else than he said could he, maybe he can work on getting men to make correct decisions that would be great for football.
