  • Hey that is not a true commercial, when the door is open about half way to the full opening on a Chevy Cavalier from at least '02 and up the radio turns off haha ( I have an '02 Cavalier)

  • @Drewrob26 only if you take the key out

  • Thats my car! I have a yellow 2003 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport. It's my baby <3

  • Ya 03 Cavalier!! haha

  • @IMCensored1 Oh yea... Haha I was just thinking about when I get out of my car, but the car is off 99% of the time I get out of it.

  • @idontcare80 meh i can say the same about my cavalier, it really hasn't given me any problems and it is 10 years old now. --- the acura integra i had a few years back is another story... all carlines have their lemons... you got the bad chevy, i got the bad honda... but i'd probably own another integra again if one came across my path...

  • @IMCensored1 My definition of disposable car is one that requires constant repair when it's still relatively new. I've NEVER had a single problem with any of the Hondas I've owned. The one I have now is 20 years old, has 236,000 miles on it and has never had anything replaced by me other than fluids and filters.

  • @idontcare80 midyear 2002 - 05 had the ecotec motor in all J-bodies. (you can find out more at j-body.org ).... the quad motor started around 150 base, and ive fully built the head and the block... i have a progress thread in photos and media on j-body.org

any econobox is disposable regardless of brand... the toyotas, hondas, GMs, fords... etc... econoboxes weren't made to be any sort of special... really most cars are made to be disposable, since they want you to buy new in 7 years

  • @IMCensored1 I don't think we're talking about the same car. I'm pretty sure the Cavaliers in the US never came with Ecotecs, only the Cobalts. The Cavalier was always junk in the states, they're disposable cars, like toilet paper.

BTW, 260 hp is pretty good, I didn't know they could get to those power levels without forced induction. That's almost Honda K series territory.

  • @idontcare80 *** I'm not a big fan of the 03 - 05 body appearance over the 2002 LS Sport, and the VAUXHALL ecotec is nice, but i still prefer the 2.4 Oldsmobile Quad 4 Family LD9 (mine makes about 260 WHP All motor) over it.

as for being the worst, i can list several that are way worse... the car had its bugs, but most econoboxes do, and my car has been real nice to me...
