  • yes, i have muscle twitching in my shoulder/arm. Sometimes i'm not aware i'm doing it, but in public i think i'm more aware of it and i try not to do it, but sometimes i can't really control it. Also, i have the breathing thing where my breathing gets shallow or i'll hold my breath. Also, the shakey thing happens to my hands most of the time.

  • Run, run, run.

Your body, whilst experiencing *FEAR* has gone into *FIGHT OR FLIGHT MODE*.

Just run it off, this *WILL* calm your mind, & eventually (after months), *ALL* your symptoms will be *GONE*.

    (I'll stop talking now.lol)

  • Last thing.

*DEEP BREATHS* make your condition *WORSE*.

Which is probably self-perpetuating the whole thing.

  • A few last things.

I couldn't lie down on my (Think it was) right side.

This is because of the shape of your esophagus. The gas caused by acid caused by worry, gives you "Acid Reflux".

Ask your doctor for (Harmless) Omeprazole . (An antacid)

(DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY VALIUM ETC)

And the running I mentioned, calms you down, & burns the excess oxygen in your system.

You need to do this, until you *REINFORCE* the idea, that it was all in your mind.

  • Anxiety, it compresses your esophagus, and can even make your heart beat irregularly.

Your shortness of breath, is because (believe it or not) your quick breathing has over saturated your blood with oxygen.

I overcame this disorder, by *running*.

Whenever my back twitched, or I couldn't breath, or had chest pain. I ran.

It's counter intuitive at first, because you (Genuinely) believe that if you exercise, you exacerbate your heart condition. (which you *DO NOT HAVE*!

    Hope that helped.

  • I know *EXACTLY* what you have.

You are experiencing severe "panic attacks". Which comes with *many* symptoms, & you just described them all.

I had about 25 EKG's 10 Emergency hospitalizations, (Thought I was having a heart attack).

The doctor was quite amused that, while he was listening to my heart beat, he could hear my "Latissimus dorsi muscles beating too ".

Your chest pain is caused by (believe it or not) Gas. Your esophagus passes right by your heart, and when acid is produced

  • wow! i have kinda the same thing but is more when it comes to girls, i try to avoid them and when im in a situation to talk to them, i don't make eye contact and don't talk as much cause i tend to studder and my face twitches as well. I actually went to a psychologist and whe the conversation about girls came up, i kinda swayed away from it cause im ashamed of my incapacity to interact with them, so wat should i do???

  • thanks for posting this video & sharing your experience.. i too have same kind of problems.. muscle twitching is the most annoying thing.. To overcome this, you need to go for massaging which helps in relaxing the muscles.. Yoga offers few breathing technique that can help you to overcome anxiety.. And there is your mind.. Stop thinking negative, it will help in conditioning your brain..

  • THERE IS ONLY "ONE" WAY TO DEFEAT SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER FOR GOOD. ONE WAY ONLY: Exercise. Workouts. Whatever you can do to"settle" your mind, and your physical symptoms will follow. I know...I had S.A.D

  • My face twitches..like my eyebrows. It's really annoying.
