@crosbyyacht yeah letterman is hard to get along with, he usually tries to make u look like an idiot
-
@grasd2 it's definitely more of context issue... I mean comedians like Louis CK and George Carlin use it when they're trying to break down how society is affected by its taboo usage, whereas Kramer got really pissed off at someone and called him a nigger. Still very much convenient for the media, but not for the reasons you're implying.

Dave sucks here

He didn't seem to like being on Letterman very much.
-
@froggy2991 *as an offensive
-
@grasd2 gilbert and louis use it in a scripted sense and not in an offensive word. richards had a racist outburst. there's a difference between just saying the word and actually meaning it

the whole thing is a bit imo

he seems kinda trying too hard to tell something funny like Jerry does. He should just be himself.

@HSAdestroy He said it because he was frazzled and ON COKE AND ALCOHOL.
Michael Richards is not mean. You should watch the cye episode where he parodies the incident. He did not mean what he said. It seemed very racist when he said it. "that's what happen when you interrupt a white man!" But that was an accident.

I like how everyone just decided to pick on this guy and make him out to be a murderer. There's even other white comedians that say nigger and nothing happens to them. Louis C.K. Gilbert Gottfried. Gilbert says nigger 30 times at a stand up show and then films some shit for Disney but Michale Richards says it once and he gets murdered by the media and his career goes down the toilet. It's not about what you do, it's about whether you're a convenient target for the media.
