The Baseball Bat Incident

April 15, 1988 - This is an collection of clips introduced by Tony Schiavone and Jim Ross. Magnum TA had revealed his "surprise" for the Horsemen - a baseball bat! - at a recent house show. He brings it with him for a ringside interview and then JJ Dillon and Tully Blanchard crash the party. Dusty Rhodes then comes to the aid of his injured protege and goes over the edge with the bat. Later, Rhodes is stripped of his US Title and suspended for 120 days. In his absence, the mysterious "Midnight Rider" takes up his cause. I have to apologize for the missing parts of this clip. This tape was stored in a cabinet that suffered severe water damage after a fire in our home. I was able to restore this video somewhat by collecting parts of it and stitching it back together electronically. In two places, unfortunately, there were parts I could not restore.
