  • after your all videos, in your opinion what is the best technique for the carp fishing

  • @roveariel Good thing is that... I don't know! Plenty of experiments are waiting on my TODO list to check one thing or another... Plus those videos are recorded in a specific environment, and we all know carp have very distinct behavior depending on the environment... I tend to favor a fixed rig with a 3oz lead, a size 6 hook with a nice bend, and a short (~ 5 inches) but flexible hooklink. And two kernels of corn including a fake/floating one. And a method ball. But that's just me...

  • Hi there great video! I personally think that if you use a critically balanced rig i.e use one piece of pop up corn and one normal, you would get even more takes. The bouyant bait will be able to fly up into the carps mouth with even the slightest suck at it and even shy biting fish will get the bait in their mouth. Also I use a small piece of rig putty on the hooklenth which helps turn the hookpoint down when a fish picks up the bait.

  • @sdew82 I actually do most of my fishing with a piece of fake pop-up corn and a regular kernel of maize. And most of my recent videos illustrated that. I agree with your views here, except that there is still a good deal of 'suck and spit', more than you might think. As to the rig putty to help the hook turn, I'm a bit more skeptical, but this is something on my long list of things to try... Thanks for the feedback.

  • NEUTRAL BUOYANCY BAITS! I think that you would have had some good hook holds instead of misses if your maize rigs had neutral buoyancy(it would shoot to the back o their mouth when they suck it). Also try out a KD rig for your fans :D

  • Please try a 6 oz lead it my sound a bit barbaric but they won't get away with it much.

  • @sZeRo0Xx The camera magnifies a lot. The hair was pretty short. It's just that some carp barely suck the bait. Thanks for the nice words, and I'll do more, but I have a fairly limited window of time where the stars are properly aligned (i.e. visibility, carp being there, etc) for me to record proper material. Expect something in November...

  • @JeromeMoisand Jerome you told me to watch this vid after comenting on your pop up rig about the shrink tubes,. did you try to put the bait directly behind the hook, loos like there is a bit too much space cuz ive seen there is carps that inhale the corns and the hook stays out. and very good videos u making i really like em, ima suscribe, are you going to do more? and nice populated waters u got.

Greetings from Spain and Tight Lines!

  • @JeromeMoisand ah yes when I looked closer I see the fake corn you're using. It definatly gives you the edge over standard bottom baits. Trust me the rig putty really works, it just helps the hook turn so the fish has less time to eject the rig before the hook is set. Really great videos, I've watched them a lot to help with designing my own rigs so thankyou!

  • Very good job!!!
