  • I'm very happy to see this done!! I just feel bad for the place where she does end up.

  • Good job John Culberson! Get that crazy lady out of Texas. How would she feel if someone told her she wasn't allowed to say what she wanted at her childs funeral. Get at least 200 people together and say a prayer for all of the fallen soldiers.

  • Congressman I applaud u. I have served the citizens in van zandt county for over twenty five.years as their sheriff and constable. I am more than willing to provide the cemetery winch an escort out of Texas. Thank you again Mr congressman

  • God bless the Congressman.

  • YES! This is so outrageous. This woman needs to be sent back to Chicago as she does not represent the VA, the veterans nor the nation. Hooray for a congressman willing to do the hard jobs.

  • Not only Culberson is lying about zeroing her salary but also to take her out of Texas?? Please don't act like a moron that you are!! I'd like to bet whatever he wants that he can't do it. Also, I know him pretty well and he wasn't at the funeral in question. In addition the policy that started all this issues was published in 2007. To end this; why don't you tell everyone that this honorable men (VFW) charge the poor families at least $180 for their crapy ceremony huh?

  • I applaud Congressman Culberson for holding the director of the cemetery personally responsible and accountable for her actions. Personal responsibility and accountability for one's own actions (i.e. words or actions) is what keeps a society polite, It also completely eliminates "It's the system that is doing it". People are the system and are accountable for their actions and decisions.

  • Semper Fi, Congressman Culberson!

  • It's she and so many liberals that are taking away our right to worship as we choose. Is God so terrible a word? Is Allah or Buddha a better word?. Why are the liberals of this country taking from us our rights and giving them to those who do not believe in the fundamentals of the United States of America. We've lost our Day of Prayer to the Muslim days of worship.. We need a Washington full of Congressman John Culbersons and John Flemings and those who are willing to fight for what is right.

  • May God Bless you Sir, I hope you are successful in getting "that woman" out of Texas completely
