  • fuck you all Jim Morrison is GOD

  • Three things I love about this song.

    1) The bass line and organ riffs at 0:27 and 1:30

    2) The part about the hotel and the lizard

    3) The rest of the fucking song

LONG LIVE THE DOORS AND THEIR LABYRINTHINE, OEDIPAL, EXUBERANT JAMS! They transcend every other band in history with their progressive message, lyrics, and emotion. All else is just dust....(except Pink Floyd)

  • I saw a kid do these lyrics for poetry interp--i swear it made me see things.

  • AND YOU'RE THE ONE

    I WANT TO COME

  • the guy yelling "yea" at the end is fairly disturbing

  • @joshacio I think you missed the point about religeon. The whole bible fits into one word 'love. No murder/judgement etc. BUT yea...Jim did start thinking HE was God in the end but I guess having so many fans went to his head. I really hope 'love' isn't just a corny word in your dictionary.

  • 4:35-4:42 best rock n roll line ever!!!

  • @sinstresss More like Sex God.But a god either way.

  • jebiga moram ici peglat .

  • A lot of what Jim Morrison bases his songs off of is what is called the "Transcendentalist movement" that started in the 19th century. Transcendentalists such as Ralph Waldo Emerson believed in an ability of humans to "transcend" their limits and reach a higher understanding of life. William Blake was a major figure in contributing to this movement in Europe during the previous century, he also believed in such views, which Morrison has also used in his songs. Transcend aka "Break on through."

  • if you guys want to understand jim stance on relgion vs spirituality you should read up on Blake. Blake influenced Morrison in the same way he influenced w.b. Yeats, by illuminating their minds enough to not be able to accept conventional christianity, yet constantly longing and searching for the mystic, the spiritual

  • @nethaeleth Nah morrison claimed no religion but he knew there was a spirit
