  • This song always made me feel stoned even if I wasn't.

  • The most under rated guitar player of all time.

I have seen him three times.Way better than Eddie Van halen and Eric Clapton.

Just as good as Jimi Hendrix,Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck in my opinion.

  • @shibbard1016, I totally agree with your statement. Trower plays that guitar with an intensity that he makes you FEEL his music. I've been diggin' on Trower since the '70's and still diggin him to this day.

  • @shibbard1016 As good, yes. As creative, no. An amazing axe man!!!!!!!!

  • @HSECMAN - Ever think they might have had a set of letters? ya know, the alphabet, plus triple vowels triple R, S T, L, N, and double everything else. That way they could spell out anything?

  • must have been expensive to make new neon signs every week for each performer on the midnight special

  • @harwicke Exactly! I feel the same way...it's got such a hazy feel to it...

  • @BLUESMANRONCHICAGO Yes, Jack Bruce too. ('Theme For An Imaginary Western') although I kinda liked Felix's voice on that tune (Yes, I know Jack wrote it, but I was a huge Mountain fan also.)

  • @BLUESMANRONCHICAGO Thank you, BluesManRon! Yes, I was quite a fan of that album (B.L.T.) killer album, and one of the tastiest looking albums covers I can think of. (makes me hungry just thinking about it)

I too agree, James Dewar had one of the most soulful voices in rock & roll. 'Long Misty Days' (and 'Bridge Of Sighs') ...Case closed, enough said!

Looks like you're fixin' to get dumped on tonight (2/27) we had 90 mph winds the other night. (Denver) but not much snow.

  • AWESOME and then some!

  • Robin was a Bad MF !

  • Trower took a lot of heat for supposedly being a Jimi Hendrix imitator. Unfair, Jimi was just an influence on robin, as well as B.B King was to him. He used the waa-waa pedal alot, so what!!!

Clapton used it, Jimi used it, so naturally there are going to be passages where they all sound alike!! Like the other guy said, just listen to the music and thank God those guys brought it to us!!!
