Paradise Found a film by Patrizia Marani

Thirty years ago Gabriella, a theatre actress and author, decides to leave the city to live a simpler life in tune with nature. A disciple of the great British gardeners and of Fukuoka, the Japanese guru of natural farming, she has created a one-hectare ecological garden in the Emilian Appennine Mountains of Northern Italy that is at once a natural work of art for its outstanding beauty and a sanctuary for rare or extinct spontaneous species, artfully mixed with cultivated ones. Through it she carries out a tenacious struggle for the protection of the environment and the conservation of biodiversity, as Gabriella takes nature as her model and partner in the firm belief that she knows the secret to our survival.
