Serious question: There seems to be something antithetical about Jamaican homophobia and Rastafarianism. @Dorianyatesisrealman i believe the hatred comes from a more extreme spectrum, where the religious doctrine of peace tends to warp into hatred of topics that the ignorant do not understand (homosexuality). I see it similarly to Christianity in which Jesus Christ spreads love and peace but for some reason (some say and interpret) that homosexuals deserve neither. Not all Rastas hate gays, that's important to keep in mind, and hopefully tolerance will be achieved.
