The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry 2009 Official Trailer

The movie is about twelve year olds Dustin (Jansen Panettiere), Albert (Frankie Ryan Manriquez), and Mark (Allen Isaacson) are best buddies looking forward to a summer of fun in 1970.




Dustin has a crush on Tanya (Bailey Garno) and wants to ask her out on a date, something he has never done before. His main obstacle though is Nick (Taylor Boggan), the town bully, because Nick likes Tanya too. When Dustin mows the lawn of Jonathan Sperry (Gavin MacLeod), an elderly man he has seen at his church, a new friendship develops.




What happens the rest of this summer is something Dustin and his friends...will never forget.

What's with all the thumbs down? Seems like a sweet movie, maybe to sweet and naive (judging by this trailer), but as a non christian I think that christian audiences deserve once in awhile a movie that doesn't present their religion as something idiotic, balance is a good thing. As for those who trolled this page thumbing down all of the comments, lighten up there are plenty of other movies that are tailored to suit your views, let christians have some fun too. Cheers!

I loved Rich Christiano's movies "TIME CHANGER" and UNIDENTIFIED. I am sure "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" will be just as awesome!

I actually have been waiting for some time for this to come out. Ever since Rich mentioned this to me back during the beginning of filming!

I believe he also mentioned this was filmed in his hometown!
