ANTS/BUGS IN DIRTY HOTEL LAGANAS ZANTE GREECE JUNE 2010

yes the ants were free with the room,as were the hairs on the floor from the previous guests,,, this video is for you to make your mind up about the savvas hotel in zante, we filmed this video about 7 hours after we arrived make your own mind up as to whether it is what you,d expect from an hotel/apartment

me and a group of mates are going in 2 weeks to the same hotel and no we are not spending time in it so all should be good :)

just a quick question though how many plugs are in one room?

@Bhavzi123 the hotel is really lively, the bar at the pool is open virtually 24 hrs with music thats quite loud. the beach is about 10 min walk, the food is cheap tobacco is 78 euro,s for 10 pouches of 50g 200 fags is 30 euros, as for the plugs i,d guess there is about 3 in the room. the actual complex is ok the staff are really friendly, but as i showed in my film the room is "not the best" but as i guess your only using it to sleep in it should be ok. its about 5miles from the airport.

@somersetwfc Thats nottoo bad then. iv been looking at a couple of reviews and they all mention something about passports being taken at the front desk? is that true? and another question iv been looking online but i cant seem to find any information about how to get from the airport to savvas.

@Bhavzi123 they took our passports to foto copy them then gave us them back within 5mins, a normal practice were ever weve been. you will need your passports if you hire things out like quadbikes etc for proof of who you are, so they cant keep them. transfers from the airport can be booked at any travel agents at about £20 each return or just get a taxi for about 15 euros

I stayed here, the rooms are discusting but it adds to the memories and laughter. One thing I will warn people is the pool's chlorine turns your shorts green so don't wear expensive shorts in the pool!!! And avoid the sides as that's where most of it sits. I sat on the side with my legs dangling in the pool and my arse looks like I had the green-sh*ts!!!

Don't let this video put you off. It's an amazing atmosphere and the staff are so nice, you'll have an amazing time!
