Man! This is LAME! You are way too good of a guitarist to whore yourself out like this. Trust me, I've been playing for nearly 40 years (yeah, I'm old!) Being a great YOU is way more satisfying than being a good imitation SRV, or anyone else, for that matter. Doing killer SRV covers is one thing, but trying to look like him is kinda sad. Make your own mark, don't try to ride on anyone else's coat-tails. We all have had to do covers - but you are good enough to stand on your own merits.

@mutad8 Did you notice this is from Feb. 2008? Tommy has his own band and no longer plays for this tribute band. He hasn't worn the hat since 5/09. Please check out the many newer videos from Tommy Katona & Full Blast...Thank you

Takes real guts to completely replicate Stevie's entire persona, from the little dance steps, to his last "favorite note" but damn he can play! Stevie is probably impressed. But no one will ever replace him.

@SRV4evr I hope you realize that this was 2 years ago and this was Tommy's first gig as guitarist for this SRV tribute band. He left the tribute band 1 year ago and doesn't wear the hat, etc anymore.

mutad8 i disagree to a point. Stevie needs to live on and be remembered by people like this fella who does a cracking job by the way. Im a big SRV fan and i appreciate this guy so don't knock him praise him. Although i do see your view.

I must defend Tommy and his talent from some of these comments. It doesn't even matter if he still wears the hat or not. I don't care how much he dressed like SRV. Bottom line...Tommy is a brilliant guitarist and a lover of Stevie's music. There isn't a one of us who doesn't wish we had half of Tommy's talent. I play an SRV Strat. I like to play Stevie's music. So what! I'm proud of it! Go Tommy! You Rock!

@mutad8 RONG , I agree with you beacuse i dont like to copy no one but you can see that "Tommy " loves SRV and he feels good playing killer covers so i guess its MORE THAN OK he brings the Srv spirit again to the public whats rong about it ? better than nub metal ass bands
