Hmmm... a meteor hits someone - and meteor strikes are now classified?!

...now why would they need to be classified? It's not like it's Al Queda that's throwing them! (0_o)

What are the odds of a meteor hitting a person?

If a blind man were playing darts; his chances of hitting the board would increase greatly if he were to throw 20 darts at once - instead of one... right?

I'm guessing the space rock bombardment is about to commence - here we go!

starts June 22nd and peaks on June 27th and ends July 2nd!

These come from comet 7P/Pons-Winnecke which orbits our sun once every 6+ years or so.

that boy in Germany.. I wonder if there's anything odd that will happen to him? in these times, it's easy to think that there's something supernatural at play when someone gets hit by a meteor.

Great reporting.

We got those type of clouds in LA last week during a strange, fast moving thunderstorms. One woman was struck by lightning.

Ironically, I was outside bar-b-que'ing. Probably not the smartest thing I've done, but it tasted oh so good :) BBQ chicken, and hot dogs for the kids.

I 'spose I won't be bbq-ing in a thunderstorm again :D
