Dude please, get over yourself. The only one who brought up Atlanta is a guy FROM Atlanta, sounds like yall have an inferiority complex or something. Charlotte is Charlotte...simple as that, why the hell would Charlotte wan't to be like Atlanta? Crime, horrible traffic, SPRAWL.....If it's soooo boring why are soooo many people moving here?? I would love to hear your educated response...I laugh when people say Charlotte wan'ts to be Atlanta and so do all Charlotteans, the classier city for sure

@supercococaleb base? what base? ... charlotte has plenty of buildings. i grew up in charlotte... my dad worked in a building in uptown charlotte my entire life. i was born in 1988... so that's 22 years. are you military? i honestly never knew there was a base near/in charlotte. i always think of fayetteville when i think of military bases. guess that shows how vast charlotte is... you don't know there are buildings, and i don't know there are military bases.

Go to intersection of queens and providence and attempt to get on 277 outer. you have to shoot across 4 lanes of heavy traffic to get on 277.

@NinerGreen about 6 or 7 years ago,Charlotte tore down all of its ghetto neighborhoods which were uptown/downtown. (Piedmont courts, Earl village, cherry and more... The "ghettos" (Lower class neighborhoods are now closer to east charlotte and the northern part of central Charlotte.

@supercococaleb Yes, charlotte has several tall skyscapers.. it's the headquarters of bank of america, wacovia and more. The tallest building is the bank of america tower, which is 62 stories. For a while charlotte had the tallest building from Miami to baltimore maryland, until atlanta built its 63 story building. Charlotte'smetro population is over 2 million
