Deltalab RD1 Rock Distortion Demo

another demonstration of the Rock Distortion - RD1 from Deltalab. Using an Epiphone Les Paul with a JB in the bridge into an Epiphone Valve Jr. amp. The amp was mic'd using an SM57.

is this good for bass ?

@chpthncook37 you would need something to split the signal to retain the bass on bottom.., however I would say you would be better off w/ the MXR Blowtorch, as it has a 'blend' knob..

@LeeChavezMusic It has a little more mid range and a little bit less fizz than the ds-1... not exact, but very close.

@strictlyedge1 based on the price, you could save and get both, then experiment, make one the boost, the other the distortion... honestly I don't think anyone can have too many distortion/overdrive/fuzz pedals..

@stadinator1000 depending on what you mean by 90's alternative... if you mean nirvana, smashing pumpkins, bush., then i'd say yes, however you may have better luck with a fuzz face or similar.. different beast entirely, but very fun:)
