Finnish Public Broadcasting Company (YLE) News 8/13/2009 - Stubb on Gaza

Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Stubb, expressing his views over the reaction of an NGO organization (Finn Church Aid http://www.kua.fi/en/about_us/?id=295) for the destruction of it's medical clinic in Gaza by the Israel "Defence" Forces. Rough translation of his comments below. He did not know that the camera was recording:

"To be honest, why should I advertise Finn Church Aid? It is a little bit like "my Nokia was stolen, do you plan to do something?" Theyre trying to raise their own brand, as it were. Thats the point

The next morning, he was more regretful (now he knows the camera is rolling):

"This was a complete blunder on my part and I apologise. I didnt know that the microphones were on, but seemingly they were. I did not mean it. Finn Church Aid does amazing work. The attack in Gaza was condemned then, and we still condemn it today. I should not have said what I did, and I completely retract the statement".
