the blue spartan is Caboose. He was once a Freelancer, but during a secret mission, he was severely wounded. He was sent to the medics, and by then, Caboose was in a coma. Once he got out, he suffered from amnesia, and became really.....unique and he was taken out of the Freelancer program and sent to the Blue Team in Blood Gulch, and became the recruit that 'killed' Church

Thought. One, it doesn't matter who the Blue Spartan is. He's probably just an anonymous Freelancer, Kansas, or maybe New Mexico. Not important. Two, Doc was a Freelancer. This is the future, remember? Who's to say the abbreviation for the District of Columbia isn't DoC at this point?
