My son was half Black. I had him in 1973, I am so glad he is in my life. What a wonderful addition he is to my life, and this song had a big part of thatl.

I spent a lot of time listening to Janis Ian in the 1970s in between Patti Smith, the Ramones etc. Still have all her albums - vinyl. For me, the beauty of Janis was/is that she is a true musician.

Unbelieveable performance! Janis is

recent conserts I discovered that she
