Karazhan Crypts, patch 2.4

Although Blizzard long ago made it pretty much impossible to get into the crypts under Karazhan, there is one way to do it, provided you're a hunter or a shaman. This allows you to see a unique and very atmospheric area that has yet to be copy and pasted anywhere else (let's face it, Blizzard are really good at the old copy-paste :-p). I'm hoping the design of the area will show up in Wrath of the Lich King as a dungeon or something, as it's a great shame to have that area going to waste.

Hunters will need to use the following macro to allow chain-casting of Eagle Eye.

/cast !Eagle Eye

I beleive shaman can already chain cast Far Sight. Note that I don't have a shaman higher than level 15 so I'm unable to test it out :-p

question.. n i hope its a easy ans xD.. that black graphic which spans from left to right and takes up about 1/5 of the screen going from bottom to up where ur buttons are..

wat addon is that? or is it part of an addon pack?

ive been trying to find out wat addon or pack it would b but i never get that appearing =/..

hope you know wat im talking about.. n hopefully can point me in the right direction for which addon to get =)

The black bar is a feature of the Skinner addon, and it's called the BottomFrame I think. I use the BottomFrame and Viewport features of Skinner to shrink my playing screen's height, so that my character is still in the centre of the screen, and usually have every other feature turned off since I don't like the re-texture that Skinner applies to all the game menus.

Thats so awesome. Reminds me of a mix between the catacombs under SW (great place to sneak around if you're a horde) and the shadow temple from Ocarina of time. Was that the actual music or did you add it in? anyway, I want to get in there lol.

The music is from Dungeon Keeper, an excellent "play as the bad guys" game from the late 90s. It just felt like it would fit in perfectly with the atmosphere of the place.

Finally got into Crypts last week - a guildie got in with his shaman and did a guild group summon to bring the party in to explore. It is every bit as creepy as I imagined it would be, particularly the Room of the Upside Down Sinners! I really hope Blizzard will do something more with this amazing space!

idk ... while it's not the same layout, a lot of the rooms look the same as Scholomance. Meh. Doubt we'll ever see any of this. XD

=D tyvm for pointing me in the right direction! finally have my ui like i wanted =). i didnt see a viewport in skinner (unless i missed it), so i went to get ct_viewport addon which prety much does the same =P
