Hey i got my Royal Portable Typewriter Model 2 1930. I bought mine from ebay for 126 dollars. But when i wanted to use the backspace, it didnt work. What should i do?

I have a Royal 200 portable. It's made in Japan. It's small, smaller than that you have sold. That's a bit looking more like a semi-portable. That's before the Depression Era I think. There was also a red model. Their difference was the tabulators. One of them has one and the other doesn't.

@HLD452 Well each machine is special in it's own way. And if you're going to be talking in terms of practicality, typewriters are not for you. But I appreciate your contribution of information.

I honestly hate the feel of my royals. It feels like a shocking sensation when I hit a key. Just imo
