Yeah, so, Hrekkur dont really like water but we had been out for quite a long time and it was warm so I thought he could need some cooling down in there.
Not gonna happen.
We were both okay, no, he did not fall, and no, I did not fall off either. Though I did land on his but. :p

  • I have never quite understood why people are always trying to make ponies and horses do things they clearly feel are outside their comfort zone. Poor guy.

  • @Iberiansyes Yeah, because you clearly know this pony. He's been in the water before and since without any problem: he was just missbehaving and being cheeky.

  • so lucky you stayed on :P

  • @HorseyGirl364 Haha, yeah. :D

  • ummmmm u havent got a hat on

  • @Mrbillywizz12 I dont? wow, how could I not realise that... (insert sarcasm)

  • @AnnikaL Maybe he didn't want to go in the water just at that moment?

  • omg your pony is so adorable!

  • Don't kick him in the flanks! That's why he reared. :/

  • Dude. why were you forcing the pony? There is obviously a lake monster in that water. The pony saw it.

  • just like mine he hates water hes finally given up and will now go in you rode him well cheeky ponies got too love em xxxxx

  • what an idiot the horse is clearly scared of water and she still makes her go closer i would rear to

  • Your kicking him in the Flank, and horse will buck, rear, or at least swish their tail if you kick them ( even by accident) too far back. If he doesn't like water, I t might have helped to dismount and then lead him into the water to see it's okay. Then get back on and ride him. Horse's don't follow or do anything that they aren't 100% Sure it's safe.

  • @Iberiansyes

they do that so the horse knows that he can trust his owner

he needs to know you are the leader

THIS HORSE ISNT scared,if he was he wouldn't rear so slowly, he wouldn't kep his legs so still

this is just the horse trying to get his way it is just ' not having his day'

    Soo....

  • ummm maybe if your feet werent in the flanks that might have helped?
