I found this old tape I had on making firecrackers and figured I would post it. An interesting fact about making fireworks that may surprise most men is, most fireworks are made by women and not men.

  • I actually feel really sad about theese woman. They dont look happy at all over their work, and in most cases theese jobs are so bad payed to. Its sad :(

  • how hard they are to make and how fast they go

  • that job must suck....but the endproduct is awesome .

  • sweat shop workers?

  • oh great now im going to have to build that giant fucking mandrel to roll my tubes..... Someone has to have tried making that. I'd like to roll tubes that fast.... I'd get fired.

  • The National Fire Association's goal is to eliminate all consumer fireworks in the United States and its territorial possessions. Both the NFA and CPSC post misleading, inaccurate information about pyrotechnics for the general public.

For instance, they use illegal fireworks with an unknown chemical composition and whose fuse is in question and then pass it off as a legal firework.

I value my freedom and that's one of the reasons why I support your local fireworks industry.

  • It's amazing the amount of work that goes into it just to give a few seconds of fun. What skills these men/women have! Cool series of videos.

Dave, can you tell me from what DVD this is?

I've seen more vids in the same style with the same person talking however I've never found the original DVD.
