The Big 12 made its own bed and will now die. Welcome a New Big 12 to the Northeast (formally Big 10). The loss of the Husker-Sooner rivalry, the bias towards the state of Texas and the Big 12 South gets blame for the Huskers leaving. Nebraska is a powerhouse again and that is what the Big 10 needs. My advice to the current Big 12: Try replacing Nebraska with Boise State as they need the chance and are good... just ask the Sooners!

Big ten makes the most money out of any other major D-1 conference and they have there own tv network. They also share the wealth. Why wouldn't you want to play in the big ten.

Nebraska, Gone! Colorado, Gone! Missouri, Going! Now Texas A&M, Going! Hey Longhorns, enjoying your media time? Was it worth it? The Big 12 is running out of teams who want to join because the Big 12 is looking less apealing. But look at the bright side Oklahoma and Kansas teams, you will be able to call yourselves in the Big 8 again. At the same time, it is starting to look like the old Southwest Confrence.

Listen up all you college football fans:

THIS IS HOW IT IS GOING TO BE, SO TAKE NOTES--

We will return to the pre BCS bowl setup where bowl games mattered. You had to win your conference to get into one of the top bowls or be ranked very high if you were ND or something.

BUT, we're going to add an AND 1 game where the top 2 ranked teams AFTER all the bowls, play each other.

The perfect system. Now, go and spread this message throughout the known world.

a playoff in college football would suck and finish off the already damaged-by-the-BCS bowl games.

College football needs to return to the traditional conf champ vs conf champ bowl format, and then add a AND 1 where the top two ranked teams after the bowls play each other for the national title.

Bring back Big 10 champ always plays Pac 10 champ, etc. That would be the perfect college football setup.

    Bowls ARE college football.

whoops I meant "century" instead of decade lol! The original big 8 formed in 1907, Big 12 expanded with 4 Texas teams in 1994. Funny thing is... UT has been in 4 conferences so far, 3 of which have been destroyed, with one on the way. You will all see it soon enough...

    1. There's always a reason... Ask Texas A&M.

    2. Your right! Why should we allow Texas to do whatever they want, causing teams like Texas A&M, Nebraska, and Colorado to jump ship on a conference they have known and loved for almost a decade.

    3. Conferences can now compete with the SEC and makes an easier transition into an inevitable playoff scheme. And Nebraska fans will always travel. Look up the youtube video called "2000: Nebraska- 27 Notre Dame- 24 (OT)".

    4. Smart voters.
