SAMHSA's Minority Fellowship Program celebrated its 40th anniversary at an event in April. Present at the celebration were some of the people who have made the program a success over the years. One was Annelle Primm, M.D. (right), deputy medical director of APA, director of APA's Office of Minority and National Affairs, and director of the APA/SAMHSA Minority Fellowship Program. Wit her is Aeva Doomes, M.D., who describes her experiences as a fellow and how the fellowship has enriched her professionally.
