ASUS EeePC 1000HE Running Counter Strike : Source

Runs supprizingly well on this low powered netbook. Although this is the 1000HE model it still only has a 1.6ghz intel atom, 1 gig of ram and the intel 950 gpu. Game is running off of a external harddrive on low-medium settings with high shadows.

Youtube though it would be funny to take mah song away 3;

Actually this one did not o.o. I had the old specs of the 1000H (1.6 N270/533FSB) with the HC battery of the 1000HE and it was listed as the 1000HE.

CS:S is completely unplayable on a 1000H. the stress test runs fine, but if you actually join a server, you are stuck at less than 10FPS

Most of the very nice stock maps weill play at 13-20fps but you can get upwards of 30 on the orange maps and a lot of the customs.

try gma booster and start css in direct x 7 mode
