This music makes a bunch of guys standing next to a black square seem utterly terrifying.

This feels like early Pink Floyd when Syd left

:D The point was that this isn't the music of that scene.

oh sorry, let me rephrase that "This makes a bunch of guys standing next to a black thin upright rectangular opaque prism seem utterly terrifying".

Now now, pop music isn't solely comprised of what you hear in the charts. It's pretty much a term for most music with a certain base structure with the general purpose of entertainment. There is still very good music in that category, not everything has to be art music (although I do like it).

It's not a square and this is not the song that is playing in that scene.

first time outside of 2001 that I heard the actual man behind the song was on a Classical station I happened on when I was in Moscow. From that moment I been hooked. Oh BTW being in Moscow for the first time, being lost and its nightfall, having this song on you would swear Putin himself is coming to take you out. Great video Thanks for the work in putting his work up.

Right on! The more you listen to material like this the farther and farther you want to get from pop music. /actually I don't think the two words go together, Pop /Music.
