Jason Miller sticks up for the horses in Kansas City [RAW VIDEO]

While at a Anti-University of Kansas Medical Center protest Jason Miller got an added bonus,He got a verbal shot at a couple of the empathy deficient carriage drivers who exploit horses....
There are several health hazards that affect these horses such as traffic, noise, AND exhaust.
They often are prone to lameness and hoof deterioration because of long hours spent pulling carriages over rough surfaces. Horses have even collapsed while on the streets. In the heat there is a lack of water offered to them and overall safety is an issue that also puts them at risk. Horses can spook, causing crashes and injuries to both horse AND human.

good job and i love it how the lady looked back with the odd look on her face like" what am not abusing the animal by having it walk on the street" even though its been proven that that type of use of Horses dose harm the animal. the bullhorn also is a great idea..keep it up.

Hmm, would have been better if they'd been educating as to WHY it's bad for the horses, as well as why exploitation is wrong period. Maybe this occurred off camera, though.

By just saying "Why are you torturing these animals?" I don't think anyone else took it seriously - because they don't know that any harm is occurring.

The horses are obviously comfortable around traffic. But you seem to think otherwise. Why? Do you know these horses personally? Did they tell you they don't like traffic? Why not go to Africa and protest the poaching of endangered species? Because you're a sniveling little twerp that has no guts. But it's easy to spout your mouth off about a few dozen horses on your city streets. The horses don't seem to mind, so what's your problem? Mommy not pay enough attention to you as a kid?
