In 2001, having been off the air for a year, I decided to try my hand at stand-up comedy. I took classes at The San Francisco Comedy College with Kurtis Matthews, and that' where I met Parviz and John DeKoven. After about 9 months of classes we took a trip down to L.A. to perform in a showcase at the legendary Comedy Store. This is my set. I realized, that night, what it meant to be 'in the zone' as a stand-up, and also realized that I would probably not perform stand-up much longer. Two months later I was on the air, full-time, at KSCO. This is the work of a beginner, but its fun to look back.
I'm always amazed when comedy college guys get showcases within a year. Still cool and decent if that's one of your first times.

obviously you were nervous since you were pacing like a nutball but you seemed more confident than other early comics with ur attitude. my opinion: JUST SLOW DOWN. also, dont explain in more detail (highlighting) why the joke was funny

You look EXACTLY like someone I used to know. I'm starting to wonder if I've ever known you in the past.
