Pokémon Battle Revolution - Sep 26 09 B

This was a Rental Pass, I think. Though I couldn't really be too sure as the name was altered from Nate to Joe Dutch, so it was a warning to me that it could've been a fake Rental Pass. I brought out Ditto first to copy one of his Pokémon to verify it.

Ditto copied Mightyena, and it has Bite, Protect, Ice Fang, and Fire Fang. So it seems this Rental Pass really IS one. I just decided to continue on anyway, as Ditto is so much fun to use. It's probably the most overlooked Pokémon in the whole game, especialy in double battles. I picked Mightyena for the reasons that neither are likely to have attacks super-effective on Dark but they might for Dragon; and Mightyena has Intimidate which takes effect when Ditto Transforms, getting Mightyena's regular Attack stat while lowering the original's.

Then I got disconnected. I think this was my own router dying on me as I was also disconnected off of PBR right afterward with a 91010 error.

I used Ditto, Mantine, Nidoking, and Kangaskhan (unseen). My opponent used Mightyena, Gabite, Monferno, and a fourth Pokémon I didn't get to see. Thanks to Beer94 for the names in katakana.

What are your main Ditto strategies? I'm curious because I really want to implement a ditto into my team because I love the little guy so much, I'm just not sure what the best way to get the most out of 'im is...

@eggdude9 Whatever strategy I use with Ditto depends on what my opponent is using. Sometimes, I'll use Transform and morph Ditto into its teammate, but I much more often pick an opponent's Pokémon.

From there, I learn what the copied moves are and come up with a plan on the spot to make use of those moves in conjuction with Ditto's partner.

@MBRing77 That's exactly how the Quick Powder works. Whatever Speed Ditto has, it's really multiplied by 2.
