Cool video, just like some of the other uploaded stuff from this member! Say, is that the Revox deck with the word 'L..L.L' written on the bottom and what's the picture of Sabrina doing on left tape reel...? :-)

Yes, it's that B77 indeed ;-)
The Sabrina pic originally was put on the reel holding yearmix 1987, in order to cause a smile on the face of the NOS technician mounting it for Radio 3 airplay. As things go with reels, their contents get mixed up a lot ;) pickup reels become feeders, they get turned upside down etc.

That looks like backcoated tape, it still plays fine to this day? Stunning work here!

Yep I'm as surprised about that as you are. At the time we all thought the glue on those white stickers would last 10 maybe 15 years at the most. Turns out it holds for at least 20 years, with no end in sight yet! I did store them dry and at room-temperature all those years, but nothing really special..

How do you keep everything on time/on beat?
crypticreign 4 years ago
By using measuring scales and rulers. Mind you, this is work from 20 or more years back, so we don't do this anymore.
