  • Thanks for the video- I love the idea of cutting the letters out of photos! I don't think I'd use someone's face for it, but I'm thinking landscape photos or beach photos would be great.

If you wanted to use a photo and have the person's face stay "intact" I'm guessing you could use the Blackout feature and have it cut as a solid piece. You'd lose some of the letter quality (no holes in the A's or O's, etc) but you'd get the idea and the people would still have a face! Thanks again-loved it!

  • Thanks for the suggestions. :) The font that I was using did not have a blackout feature but only a shadow. It still would have had holes in it. :)

  • Oh, didn't realize that (I forget that some don't have that!) Would it work on a font that did have a blackout feature?? Like I said originally- I'm "guessing" and my comment was made in general, not about that font or what you did. I know in the video you said you didn't care because it was the idea you were going for, but I was thinking of what if you did want the face to remain. Sorry if it sounded like I was criticizing you! Totally unintended!! And I still love the idea for beach pics!

  • I didn't think you sounded critical at all. :) I will have to try that with a font that does have blackout. That is a great suggestion. :)
