First off, it's a shame you can't really see or hear what's going on in this video, but it's kinda cool that I just so happened to have my camera rolling! I have done my best to add captions...
Needless to say, I am quite upset about this. When I joined this athletic club in June of 2008, I made it very vERY VERY clear what my intentions were. I was told that I can use the racquetball courts for juggling practice, at any location, at any time. I was naturally suspicious that the salesman would tell me anything I needed to hear to get me to sign the contract, as salesmen often do... So, I went over it SEVERAL more times, and he assured me that it would be fine, and that other jugglers have practiced there in the past.
In this video, I was at a different location from where I normally practice, but I have practiced at this alternate location several times with no troubles.
I am respectful of the racquetball players. In fact, I only use the courts at night when nobody is waiting to play racquetball (mostly because the racquetball players would often glare at me, until my hour was up). This location has FIVE racquetball courts, FIVE!!! Only one other court was in use when the manager made me leave. So this was definitely NOT the issue.
The manager in this video did not seem to speak English very well. At first I thought perhaps his limited English is what made his approach seem very blunt and rude. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. I tried to reason with him, but he made no attempt to discuss the matter with me. He would not address the issues I was bringing up; he simply kept repeating, "this is only for racquetball."
I have been a loyal/satisfied customer of this gym for almost 2 years, and I should not be treated like this by a manager. That is the ONLY reason I was angry/cursing by the end of the video. I should have stayed and kept juggling anyway, but I'm sure he would have called the police... which is why I feel like I was being treated like a "criminal" ...this really reminded me of my skateboarding days, hence the cheesy title, "Juggling Is Not A Crime."
On my way out, the manager was at the front desk. I again told him that I was either deliberately or unintentionally misinformed when I signed my contract, and I needed to speak with someone that could help resolve this issue. I politely asked him for his name, and the number for the main office. He would not look at me or speak to me; he simply handed me a card with the phone number I needed, and I read his name from his nametag. I attempted to explain that I was very upset with the situation, and I offered an apology for any frustration I may have directed toward him. He still would not even make eye contact with me or speak to me, which I thought was VERY rude. I don't see any reason he should have been intimidated by me after I tried to apologize, so I have concluded that he is just a complete jerk. I simply said, "have a good night, sir." and then I left.
It isn´t cool, but it isn´t cool either that you used my youtube account name as title! =D

@JugglingIsNotACrime ...but this video was posted 5 months before you even created your youtube account :P *laughs*
Juggling is not a crime, but it's still an unusual activity that people in charge of things don't always approve of for some weird screwy reason... 'tis a mega-bummer, but unfortunately, all jugglers have to deal with it sometimes.

So are you still going to practice there for the next couple months leading up to wjf6?

@gabrielfamilathe possibly... I still practice there sometimes, but I have to be careful.. I'm trying to find out which managers are cool and only go on the days that they're working... I might end up getting totally screwed though...
