Drawing Movement

I am interested in documenting the particular character of places and the people in them by documenting energy and rhythm. I try to capture an essence of my subject by recording movement and locating a particular expression, which is only there momentarily.
This video is the result of a collaborative project with Leeds Metropolitan University students that incorporates video with drawing and painting. Single shot video is projected on to paper in order that it can be drawn and painted into and the challenge was to describe movement through mark making and represent the moving image as a static image.
