Blackberry Storm 2 9550 8/14/09

New Video as of 8/14/09 of a pre-release Blackberry 9550 Storm 2. This has old software, and sitll runs very well. This version doesn't have wifi, but the current pre-release versions do, as well as the version that will be released. You will notice subtle differences, such as the touch buttons on the front, and the black buttons on the side, as well as a different battery door. You will also notice that the Storm 2 has threaded messaging.

Internet for any smartphone for both VZW and AT&T now, is $30/month, or higher. Now, I don't have the phone myself, but again, it will be released anytime now between today and mid-Nov. Hopefully we will get the official date this week or the next.

Scheduled for 9/29/09 for Business Customers, and 10/14/09 for regular customers, but those are only target dates, and they may be pushed back.

That's like complaining that the iphone has a capacitive touchscreen, and because it can't be disabled, and use resistive, it's a failure? Very dumb comment on your part, it's the technology used in the phone. And as far as the accelerometer, this is a phone that is still being tweaked, and is still 2-3 months from being finished. Some people should think before they speak, and you are obviously one of them.

This blackberry is actually worthy of being called a blackberry,,,, the 9530 was in my opinion blackberry biggest failure for a smart phone.
