His body may have been carved from the side of a mountain, but at least his head wasn't. He was actually a pretty smart and fine actor when he wanted (or needed) to be. I used to bowl with him nearly 40 years ago. He was so strong (even in his 50's) that it was like Fred Flinstone doing his twinkle toes routine right up to the foul line. And then, "Strike!"
