Yeah I'm 19 and my dad got me at a young age to listen to the shadows, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Who, Pink Floyd (Favorite band :]), Cream and many more artists from the 60's and 70's. I look at music today and laugh because it is never going to be as good as stuff from back in the day. I thank my dad all the time for showing me the light

Certainly is - well remembered! It was written for "Edgar Wallace Mysteries" series of films (all now on DVD) and that I remember seeing at the cinema in the early 1960s.

    Much slower theme tune.

Yet the only differtence is , the oldies we're popular, as in on the charts, while most of the great bands are left to to be discovered.

Show us a band today that is as innovative at songwriting as the Beatles or a guitarist as original as Jimi Hendrix or a soul singer as good as Otis Redding or a political writer as insightful as Bob Dylan or a record label full of aritsts producing classic hits such as Tamla Motown. Music today can only copy what went before, and it is a pale copy.
