  • Wow Bert, You have more stuff on Your Desk then Obama has. The TSA is a Modern Day Gestapo. Google TSA at Roadblocks. TSA at Schools, Then see how many of the TSA have been caught Stealing from Passengers. These are PAID Government Agent's acting under the "Color" of the US Government's. We have entered 1984. Orson Wells would be rolling in his grave today. I see too where People with Electronic Devices LOOSE THEM, Like Laptops when entering the USA. Oh, It was not a RANT. It is TRUTH to be TOLD

  • @MountainMontanaMan A clean desk denotes a clean mind, I have neither. Very good points regarding TSA and the present police state we are living in.

  • the personal anecdote reveals much about what has changed so sadly in the heart of America - great presentation.

  • @bnfox I will always remember that bit of ingratitude by them. Sums up the governments' attitude toward all of us. A microcosm so to say.

  • @carefulcarpenter Thank you so much for your kind words.

  • @bertly71 We make choices-- and we suffer consequences for those choices. We can choose to serve others, or we can chose to be served. I prefer to serve. Sounds like you made that choice yourself? I choose not to live in fear but to live in love.

My old girlfriend has chosen to serve-- she still works on flights. My wife serves in the deli. Your family risks life to serve mine-- thank you!

  • @carefulcarpenter I do sparingly.

  • I don't fly.

  • She has traveled all over the planet, alone in this world. Her rich in-laws were less than accepting or loving. The world was her oyster.

She made sure I got to see my brother once. She is a great woman trapped in a selfish and hostile world, but she understands the sacrifices I've made for peace, liberty, and justice.

I come from the poorer side of the tracks; but I still fight for freedom and justice for the common man. This is the well-traveled path on my side of the tracks.

  • Another of my teammates called her office the day before the wedding and made a case for himself. I told her 33 years later that I wanted her life to be the best possible, and that I did what I felt was in the best of my best friend. Three years into the marriage, it was over. She told me I would be furious if I knew what he did to her.

That was not part of the deal-- she was supposed to live happily ever after.

She was the spokeswoman for a major airline. I am a rich handyman, I am.
