NOTE: THIS WAS MADE BEFORE MY P-64 BROKE ON THE FIRST SHOT! Wanted to make sure you were aware of that, because the gun in this video was sent back for repairs/replacement.

Normally, I would be very happy to go into a lot of detail about the field strip process of this nice little pistol. But since I'm having problems with it, I'll be brief. This is a quick vid on the disassembly and reassembly of the P-64 pistol. It's essentially a Walther PPK knock-off, but it has a patented lever/trigger system that allows it to have some functionality not commonly found on older C&R guns, and particularly not on East Bloc/Commie pistols.

As you can see, it's a breeze to take apart. And after my problems at the range yesterday (9/10/11), I became quite proficient at it.

Anway, more my tale of woe from my most recent trip to the gun range, just before the 10 year anniversary of 9/11...GAWD, I can only hope 9/11 is a better day, for everyone and for me. Stay tuned.

  • @garfieldwithissuez Sorry, but the spring is very stout on that, and putting the finger on the slide has bitten me before on this P-64....besides, I already knew it was cleared, pointing away from the body, yadiyada

  • Interesting, but what broke? I have the east german one and its never given any trouble. Mine is similar in design but with some differences like a one piece grip, but the functions are the same as is take down. Very happy with mine, small compact but with a good bite. I would just like to find some good brass ammo.

  • @logcabinlooms Looks like the trigger and that big special lever-part are disconnected or sometthing...either way I gotta see if they'll take it back, it's pretty serious...

  • cool, im thinking of getting a CZ-82. do you have any experience with them?

  • @TapRackBoom Nah...maybe I should see if AIMSurplus has one, I'm kind disappointed with this P-64 so far...but I need to give it another try.

  • @20thcenturyfilmdocs Can you send it back at all?

  • @TapRackBoom Gonna find out tomorrow if they'll take it, we'll see.
