Sis Jump School

Sis's first time schooling over my new jumps! Kept it very basic... she had apparently been started over fences before I began working with her, but I can only really work with her as though she's never learned to jump before this - I have no idea how much they did before but I think it was just very sporadic "run and jump at this random fence we set" kind of stuff and only a hand full of times...

This is probably the 5th or 6th time i've worked with her over fences - she's starting to get some form and is sorting out the questions i set up - you wouldn't guess she's really that green!

As a side note, this was shot at about 7 in the evening and it was still about 100 degrees out (98 if we were lucky!)

@aaemathew no, she was actually sold this past fall. We do have several other sport-horse types (one that's been jumping a bit) and dressage prospects for sale, though!

We are all about "unconventional" horses at our eventing barn. Just retired one Novice/Training level 100% saddlebred and am currently starting another one. They have alot of heart and are very athletic. Your horse looks great...keep it up!!

You're absolutely right. Her form is coming along great! I would assume that's why you're using an oxer. You guys are going to do great when you start showing!!
