where did you get the balls for this gun?
-
by the way where can you purchase these guns from?
-
Is the patch you placed in the gun lubed at all? How many grains did you put in the tray beside the frizzen and what type of powder was it? 4f I would guess. And lastly what is the piece of metal you sticking into the gun until loading the tray?

The piece metal is a brass pin. It does two things: 1st cleans the touch hole 2nd obstructs the touch hole, so no sparks can enter the main load while loading. The patches are lubet with Pedersoli's "patch milk". I used Swiss OB for charging the pan. It is finer than 4Fg.

Pedersoli is considered on of the best of the replica makers. The comapny is making target guns, at international muzzleloading competitions most of the medals are won with Pedersoli guns in replica class.
