I have a question...do i just need a rear stand for winter storage? Front stand too?? Thanks for your help.

@sanho111 - Sorry, I live in California, so I have no idea. But I suspect it would be good for the tires to not sit on one spot for the whole winter. But if you rolled the bike ever few weeks it would probably be OK too.

I never lift the bike to vertical first, I just put the stand under and lift the bike to vertical and off the ground all in one motion. tabs are better than spools for that reason alone, apart from the fact spools can damage your swingarm in a crash. People just think spools look cool.
